This workshop went nicely in-depth and wasn't just surface material. It was just a half-day, but I genuinely appreciate how much of a true education it was; without being overwhelming. During the session I was already able to make connections with what I was learning to which clinical patients and/or ballet students would benefit from what I was learning. The content was also such that I could apply right away to the group Pilates/conditioning class I instruct at a local studio the very next evening.

I appreciated the explanation of EDS vs flexibility and the symptoms and associated comorbidities, but I especially liked that Dr. Bluestein gives us the most updated information on the research that's currently being done. Hearing you speak about all the ongoing research was encouraging and gave me hope that regular doctors (as opposed to specialists) will start to recognize that EDS comes in so many degrees and forms.
